The Flash

After a month or so of coming back to my hometown, the beautiful and sunny Monterrey, I had a lot of plans of what I wanted to do with my summer. But you know, life happens. You just have to keep your eyes in the prize and move forward.

This is a gift for a friend. The flash on heavy Bristol using copics and pitt pens.

Hope you dig!

Luther Strode Fanart

Luther Strode fan art.

It started over the summer as an art trade off with a friend, but it never got done. So it stood there in my hard drive for a while. Then, I had to turn in a cover for one of my classes and it seem like the perfect oportunity to resurrect him from the digital limbo.

To make the thing even more awesome, that week was ComiCon week, and I got to meet Trad Moore, the artist of the Luther Strode book. I showed him the piece and he liked it! He is a really cool dude and that just made my day.

So here it is!

My hero

This man right here is the reason why I am the way I am. Without him I would be nothing. He is my role model, my friend and my hero.

He is my Dad.

Invincible fan art

This is my first Invincible fan art ever. I started to read the book during summer and I got hooked! It is entertainment god and the art is superb! If you haven't yet, you should totally check it out.

Daily sketch Dump

For the past 2 weeks I've set myself a daily goal, that is to produce a daily sketch with a semi Convention look as warmup for the day, using Copics™ and inks, and to do it under an hour time. I think it is a fair goal and sometimes is hard to keep up, but at least during the week I've been able to do it. And I aim to keep doing it, because I slowly see improvement.

Right now I'm using my friends as subject matter, its easier for me and I give it as a present for them. I feel that having the capacity for art is a responsibility, and I want to give back something to all the people that have been good and kind to me. In this way I practice and they get something that hopefully will last for a long time, so everybody wins.

If you like my work and you are interested in a commission, please send me an e mail so we can work something out.

Here is what I've got so far, from now on I will try to post one daily.
